At St. George's we believe strongly in nurturing young spirits in the path of Christ. Here you will find information on our Children and Youth Worship programs.

**NOTE: St. George’s is a family-friendly church that wants your input about our Children & Youth Programs as we move forward! Please share your ideas and observations with Rachel Campbell our Sunday School Coordinator for young children and families.

Nursery

A nursery is available for children under 3 during the 10 am service.
The nursery is supervised by Mrs. Kay Wadlington with a paid staff of nursery helpers.

Children's Chapel

Children's Chapel services are held during the 10 am church service with the children going to the classroom following the cross out after the reading of the gospel and returning at the peace to join their families for communion. This provides the children with an opportunity to worship in an age appropriate way.

Children from ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to attend Children's Chapel.

Playgroup for Families with Infants through 3 year olds

Children attend with parents to have unstructured, free-play time in this once a month playgroup while older siblings are in Sunday School.  Parents may bring snacks for their children and are responsible for set up and clean up activities.

Want to connect with families at St. George's who have children the same age?

Children ages infant to 3 years old attend with parents to have unstructured, free-play time.

  •  One Sunday a month - 4th Sunday of the month, right after church while older siblings (4 years and up) are in Sunday School, 11:15 - Noon
  •  Nice weather days - located on the St. George's Preschool playground 
  •  Cold/rainy weather days - will meet in a church room with age appropriate toys supplied
  •  Parents may bring snacks for their children
  •  Parents will help set up and clean up activities.

9:30 to 10:30 am  on the 4th Sunday of each month  - room/location to be posted on Playgroup Poster in the Narthex
(may be cancelled on dates when there are all-Parish activities scheduled or Holidays)
