Brief List of Our Ministries

Here at Saint George's we offer something for everyone! Whether you desire to grow spiritually, socially, intellectually or all three: we have the opportunities ready and waiting. We have groups for families and individuals, for the young and the old, for personal growth and for growth of the church! Maybe you are a music lover, gardener or avid reader. Perhaps you simply want to join in some fun parish life activities or maybe you enjoy outreach and working on a large project.

Ministry Resources and Contacts
Stewardship Committee – Members of this committee review Time and Talent profiles and link parish members with ministry groups. This committee also encourages financial pledges by the parish.

Finance Committee – The Finance Committee serves to assist the Treasurer in his or her duties. All members of the Finance Committee are appointed by the Treasurer and approved by the Vestry.

Endowment Trust Committee – This committee is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the investments of the church’s endowment trust funds. The appointment to the committee is a three-year commitment and is approved by the congregation.

Memorials – Persons wishing to make an honorarium or memorial should contact this committee.

Helping Hands – The Helping Hands of St. George’s is a group that assists the parish in repair and cleaning projects.

Office Volunteers – The office volunteers give support to the office staff and clergy during the work week.
