The 2012 St. George’s Episcopal Church Antiques Arcade Co-Chairmen Karen Blocker and Marie Hayden and The Rev’d Gary Sturni presented a check for $26,687.25, the proceeds from the 41^st Annual Antiques Arcade, to Samaritan Counseling Centers of the Mid-South, Inc. on Sunday, February 10, 2013.  Accepting for Samaritan Counseling Centers is: L to R:  Brooks Monypeny, Board President; Sue Banister one of the Germantown area counselors; Steve Goodwin, Board member; and Ernest Kelly, past president of the board.  The gift will be used by Samaritan Counseling Centers to help individuals and families receive affordable counseling services and to provide funding for a grants writer.   Photo by Denise T. The St. George's Antiques Arcade Show & Sale features dealers from throughout the mid-south and southern states with a wide variety of silver, furniture, rugs, prints, antique jewelry and much more. Since 1972, The Antiques Arcade has raised over $550,000 in funding for charitable organizations in the Memphis area such as BRIDGES, Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA), Church Health Center, Emmanuel Center, and Samaritan Counseling Centers.

 Each year one or more local charities is selected as the outreach project to be supported by the St. George’s Antiques Arcade.
